Lunches at Waihao Downs School
Hot lunches at school
On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the children can bring a lunch that can be warmed in the oven. Lunches that need to be heated must be wrapped in aluminium foil and clearly named.
We prefer the children don’t bring any instant noodles as they need boiling water.
Every second Tuesday children can order Subway from Oamaru, through the school office. Order forms are available from the office and classrooms - correct cash is required. All orders need to be into the school office by 9am.
In terms 2 - 4 (on alternate weeks to Subway), the children can order takeaway lunches from the Waihao Forks Hotel. Order envelopes are available from the office and classrooms. Correct change is required and orders need to be at the office the Thursday prior.
